The Panasonic RAC Solo is a compact all-in-one air conditioning system providing both heating and cooling without the need for a conventional external condenser unit.
Unlike a traditional split air conditioning system, the RAC Solo is a self-contained unit. It requires just two 162mm openings through an external wall for air exchange with the outside, with no refrigerant connections required during installation.
This makes the Panasonic RAC Solo an excellent solution for homes, offices, apartments, garden rooms and other locations where fitting a conventional outdoor air conditioning unit may be difficult or undesirable.
NO OUTDOOR UNIT REQUIRED
The RAC Solo replaces the conventional external condenser with two wall openings. Self-closing external grilles remain closed when the system is not operating, helping to provide a discreet external appearance.
HEATING & COOLING
The unit provides year-round climate control, with a nominal cooling capacity of 1.73kW and nominal heating capacity of 1.71kW.
COMPACT 165MM DEEP DESIGN
At only 165mm deep, the RAC Solo has been designed to minimise its impact inside the room. Its compact full-metal body can be positioned either low on an external wall or installed higher on the wall where appropriate.

INSTALLATION
The Panasonic RAC Solo requires an external/perimeter wall to exchange air with the outside. Two 162mm wall openings are required for this 1.7kW model.
The unit is self-contained, so refrigerant pipe connections between separate indoor and outdoor units are not required during installation.
The unit can be positioned either low on the wall or higher on the wall, subject to Panasonic’s installation requirements.
Installation should be undertaken by a suitably competent installer and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation instructions.
