  • PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

    Silt Trap 300mm for 110mm Pipe or 150mm Twinwall

    This 300mm diameter factory-built silt trap is delivered to site ready for installation.

    Featuring a robust, impact resistant, rota moulded base, the silt sentinel 300 series comes with four moulded pipe spigots that accommodate 110mm EN 1401 pipe fittings. All spigots have blind ends, that can be cut off on site if required. The main outlet has the option of a 150mm twinwall pipe connection.

    Integrally there is a filter basket with an alloy filter screen fitted, this screen enhances the retention and separation of silt and removes any debris that enters the unit. The filter basket also features a telescopic stainless-steel handle, which is ergonomically designed to aid lifting.

    This unit comes with four invert options, all come with an A15 loading circular access cover as standard.

    Silt Sentinel 300 Series In Attenuation Infrastructure

    The silt guard is designed to support SuDS Management and the sewer infrastructure as part of a designed attenuation system, helping prevent flooding by limiting the amount that enters the attenuation system. The silt guard is manufactured from a high strength polyethylene twinwall, which makes it very strong and robust and able to be installed in granular surround or in some areas ‘as dug’ material.

    The one-peice chambers are very robust and relatively lightweight, they save significant amounts of onsite costs as they need no construction or wet trades.

    How it works:

    Silt Guard is designed specifically for siting upstream of smaller modular/crate type attenuation and soakaway systems. The silt guard has a removable integral debris bucket which sits just below the inlet pipe. Rainwater enters the unit and silt & solids in the flow will drop into the bucket and initially settle within the bucker, once full the excess rainwater will overflow into the main chamber and any lighter silt and sand will settle at the base and then cleaner separated water discharges from the outlet pipe into the drainage system.
